The verse:
Elijah the Tishbite spoke real plain
And he told Ahab there would be no rain
As the water dried up on the land outside
By the brook Cherith he did live and hide
He didn't have to worry 'bout the food he'd bite
Ravens brought him food in the morning and the night

Then the brook dried up and he made his path
To a town he went called by Zarephath
Then the Lord called Elijah and he did explain
How a widow there his life would sustain
Then he saw her there, and his eyes did fix
She was reaching down, picking up some sticks

As he watched her work he began to think
Then he asked the maid to bring him a drink
Then he asked again for a bit of bread
Just a morsel would do, is what Elijah said.
Then the maid stated back, though she didn't refuse
She had a handful of meal and some oil in a cruse

With the sticks she had and her skill applied
She made food for her and son, then they both would die
'Li jah told her fear not, but to make him one
Then make two cakes more for herself and son
“The barrel won't waste, and the cruse won't fail
Till the rain comes down and the land assail.”

Well she did the things she was told to do
And she ate many days, and her son did too
Each day she went to the barrel with care
Finding more and more meal stored inside of there
Then went to the cruse where the oil had been
And found the supply didn't have an end

But her boy fell sick and he had no breath
And the illness that he had must have caused his death
So the woman told Elijah that the boy was dead
And the prophet took the boy and laid him on his bed
He stretched on the boy and he cried to the Lord
He prayed for the boy and his soul restored

Then he took the boy who was now alive
To the woman overjoyed that the boy did thrive
Her work for the prophet of the Lord did pay
Such a great reward for her son that day
She testified in a voice so broad
That Elijah was holy and a man of God
